I am building out a report and I needed some historical data to use as a basis and provide some trend data. Someone sent me the files, which contained one file from the last 13 weeks. When I got those files, I saved them on SharePoint and the create date was indicated as being today. Since the files themselves do not contain the date they relate to, I wanted to use the create date field to record this data into the query.
I took those files, saved them locally (in OneDrive actually, as I use it to back up my documents, downloads, etc.) and used PowerShell to change the create date. I then saved the files back in SharePoint (I am accessing this in windows explorer) and they show me the new create dates from my PowerShell script. When I import the data into PQ, however, they still show with a create date of today. I'm not really sure what is going on here, but I assume there is some other create date that isn't related to the meta tags of the files.
My question is, is PQ using a date created that is different than the meta data on the file, and if so, do you know where that date is and can it be edited? if not that, does anyone have any idea on how I can get the meta data create date into PQ?
