Hello Everyone - Looking for a formula that will calc. the start date of a contract for me given the exact date it was signed based on mid month convention. Examples

If a contract is signed in the 1st 15 days of the month, then the contract start date is the 1st of that month. If a contract is signed the last 15 days, the the contract start date is the 1st of the FOLLOWING month.

Contract signed 3/5/16 - need a calc. in a separate cell that shows 3/1/16
Contract signed 3/18/16 - need a calc in the same cell that shows 4/1/16.

So essentially the cell would need to read the contract start date cell and then either calc. the 1st of the current month or the 1st of the following month.

Thanks in advance.
