Is it possible to make the datasheet labels go along the vertical axis instead of the horizontial?

Example:

ID
Date
PO Num

instead of

ID Date PO Num

Excel Facts

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
Nope, not with a datasheet. I'm curious why you would want to; seems like it would be counter-intuitive to the way that your users are used to viewing data.
