Greetings,

I'm not an access guru. I mostly do queries.
A workmate has inherited a work database which mostly contains forms, queries, and tables.
One of the tables has ~14000 line records.
They have been finding there some records in a table (table linked to form) and their fields have been updating to only contain hashes.
They had not been in the record.

Is there something obvious that may cause this to occur?

Highlight Duplicates
Home, Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells, Duplicate records, OK to add pink formatting to any duplicates in selected range.
If the form is showing the correct value and the table is showing ### it must be a formatting issue.

Have you tried making the column wider? If the value is calculated it may have a real value stored in the table and a rounded value shown on the form sometimes this can mean the column has to be quite wide in order to see the full number.
