I am wandering if this is possible...

To, either in a pop-up window upon opening the table or the dbase itself - to show a window that shows the newest imported record time..

i.e. [Data is current in CentreVu database as of: xx/xx/xxxx]

that possible?

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
1) Create a Totals query with the date field as the only field. Set it Totals property to "Max", this will then return the latest date.

2) Create a form based on that Query.

3) From Tool>StartUp... select that form to be your display form.

Well I follow with what your saying...But I was thinking more along the lines of...just a little msgBox popping up to say: "Attention, database records are current as of xx/xx/xxxx" and thats pretty much it.

Fair enough, but Peter's suggestion is the way to go. MsgBox will work, but you still need some function to (1) grab the max date via a SQL statement, (2) put that into a MsgBox.
It would need to run as an AutoExec but you appear to have other plans for that.

You could also combine it with your other question and add a button to run your main import code :)
