Hi,
I created a database form home using Access XP converting to 2000 format and when I try it on the 2000NT it just crashes. Why is this so, I wrote the database in XP using 2000 format and it just crashes trying to open any forms or tables etc.
Thank you for any replies.

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
Don't know for sure but here's some things you can try.
1. Incorrect library references. Go to any module in the database, in Design view. Tools | References and look for any that say <Missing>. Deselect these, and scroll down the list until you see the latest equivalent. Click that, OK, then check again.
2. Long path names in a split database. Actually, I think this is your problem. Access XP has an issue with long path names if you use a front end / back end system (strnagely enough, Access 97 didn't have this problem). If the table link (full path plus name) exceeds 128 characters, you'll crash. To check, move front and back end to the desktop, reset the links, and try again. If that fixes it, there is a free download available from MS that updates the Jet 4.0 engine.
