Hi,

I have got a data set with multiple sheets, each represents an identical course number.

I am wondering if there is a way that I could select from the drop down list in the "master" sheet and have the sheet pop up by the selection value.

here is a link to my sheet:

Thank you in advance.

(NB: within those sheets, those rate/discount factor are implemented to calculate the pv, so each period is different, is there an alternative to get the average rate within a period?)

Spell Check in Excel
Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)
a hyper link will take you to say cell A1 on the desired sheet and on that sheet another hyperlink could take you back to the master sheet.....

Thank you for your quick response.

Does that work as the drop down list ?

How about
Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
   If Target.CountLarge > 1 Then Exit Sub
   If Target.Address <> "$D$6" Then Exit Sub
   If Not IsEmpty(Target) Then Sheets(CStr(Target.Value)).Activate
End Sub
This needs to go in the sheet module for Master

Hi Fluff,

Thanks for your answer.

How do you mean sheet module?

I inserted a module and tried this macro, but it return as I need to give this macro a name?

It needs to go in the sheet module, not a regular module.
Right click on the tab "Master" > view code > paste the code into the window that opens up.

That's an xlsx file, you need to save the workbook as an xlsm, for macros to work

Firstly, it doesn't work because you have put it in the wrong place. Please see post#6
Secondly, the code that is in the file has absolutely nothing to do with your question in this thread.
Therefore I'm not surprised that "It's still not working" ;)
