Data validation

Hello excel gurus. I have struggled with datavalidation. I am preparing a spreadsheet for a serving and credit scheme. I am preparing a spreadsheet with the following layout in cell C5 to G5: Person, date, muamala (saving, credit, loan, repayment), and amount. I want to use datadatavalidation to restrict entry of data such that:
- It is impossible for a person to take a loan before finishing a previous loan
- It is impossible for a person to take a loan which is greater than 3*savings.

I know I cannot have multiple datavalidation in 1 cell. My plan, unless you advise me otherwise, is to have one formula for the two conditions, and the following error message when someone enters data against the two conditions: Outstanding loan/incorrect loan amount.

I hope I am clear. I look forward to your help

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
