I have a routine that creates a new copy of a worksheet and then the user inputs data through drop down boxes. In zip code, I have the cell with data validation linked to a named list of zip codes. However, one can enter anything in the dialog box and it will input it into the zip code cell. After the routine for dialog boxes runs and you go back to the cell for zip codes, data validation works.

How can I make it so that data validation will work when entering data from a dialog box?

Thanks,
Ron

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
What do you mean by dialog box? An input box or a userform?
If it is a userform I suggest you use a combobox & make the combobox list the same with the validation list.
