Afternoon Guys,

This may be an easy fix but here goes.

Can you use the Data Validation option to flag up an error if a Formula cell passes a specific time? It work great when you manually type the time in,

Thanks,

J

Click the italics "fx" icon to the left of the formula bar to open the Functions Arguments dialog. Help is displayed for each argument.
Has the cell already got a time imputed before its reached the specific time you have set the validation?
It works when manually done. What happens if you press the F9 key (for the cell which didn't work) can you do a calculate now from the formula menu.

DV works on data entry, not on cells containing a formula.

If you want to ID the results of a formula falling outside of a specified value/range, try using Conditional Formatting, instead
