I have created a drop down list using data validation but the resulting selection is list is toooooo tiny to see! How do I change the font?

I selected a cell, clicked DATA on the menu bar, Clicked VALIDATION, SETTINGS Tab-->in the ALLOW box I selected LIST--> in the SOURCE box I typed the names that should appear in my list, -->clicked OK

My result cell is formatted in Arial 14. When I make a selection from the drop down list it appears in Arial 14 but the selection list itself is appearing smaller than anything I have ever seen!

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
What is the Zoom on you spreadsheet. The Fonts in the cells scale to the Zoom, the fonts in the Validation list do not. So if your magnification is say, 25%, you will see the fonts in the Validation list at 25 percent of what ever font you have selected. The only solution I know of is to resize your columns in your original spread sheet., Why the font in the Val list is not scaled as well only Bill Gates knows.
