data validation help

Hi all,

I am trying to put data validation on some cells that will not allow any entry if H6 has a text length of less than 4. Can anybody help with this formula?

Perhaps:
=AND(LEN(H6)>=4,ISTEXT(H6))

When I put that in Excel tells me that the formula currently evaluates to an error.
