Hi,
I have created a Pivot Table which used Sheet3 in the same file as Data Source ('Sheet3'!$A:$E). The file is created in Microsoft Excel 2013. Everything is fine when I save the file, and open it from saved file.
But as soon as I try to move the file elsewhere or rename it or send it to my colleague. The Data Source paths changed to something like this: 'C:\Users\odySSeys\Desktop\[FileName.xlsx]Sheet3'!$A:$E
The problem is that the Pivot Table links to an old file path, where the file does not exist anymore. This shouldn't happen as the Sheet3 is still remain in the same file. Even when i send the file to my colleague whose using Microsoft Excel 2007, the path will show odySSeys path. Hence, an error of the file doesn't exist.
I've read some threads and people recommend disabling "Save external link values", but it does not help. There also solution of "saved it as .xls", but I being requested to use .xlsx.
