Data Label Linkage Issue

Dear all,

I am creating a bar chart in excel, and would like to copy the sheet that the chart is in to duplicate the page.

For the chart, I am forcing the data labels to link to a set of values in one column. For example, the labels for my bars are linked to values in column A.

But when i copy the sheet, the links in my new chart on my new sheet are still linked to column A in my old sheet. How can I get these links to update when I copy the sheet without having to manually update the links one by one?

Many thanks for your help.

Jning.

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
