Hello Friends,
I use Data - From Web.
Is it possible for the site to block me? If I only get information about the site.
Until now, I was copying information from the site, now I want to use Data - From Web.
I'm afraid of being blocked. it's possible?

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Hi Xaritona89,
theoretically: yes. A webserver can block e.g. traffic/requests from a certain IP-address (assuming your IP address doesn't change) and/or if you automated through VBA, it could block all requests that are not from a browser (can be spotted from e.g. the request headers). But that will take quite some effort from their site and you can work around it generally speaking.
Hope that helps,
Koen
