Hi Team,

I am trying to extract data from web charts.

If we hover on charts we are able to see the values of each field. So, for this I have to note down all the values in excel sheet. This is really time taking.

for your reference purpose in the below web address there is trend chart, if we hover on it the values are highlighted just below of the chart heading.
Link: https://www.x-rates.com/graph/?from=USD&to=INR&amount=1

In addition to, I would like to confirm is there any way to extract data from Tableau server/application through VBA coding.

Could you please guide.

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
Hi Kalu,
I don't know how your VBA & javascript skills are, but in the source of that page, the data for that chart comes from here: https://x-rates.com/graph/currates.php?from=USD&to=INR&amount=1
The issue is that they use some javascript functions to transform that data into the numbers you see, mainly decodeRatesData and decode64. If I grab the raw answer I see in my browser (from that url above) and plug it into a javascript fiddle I get this:
https://jsfiddle.net/8vqm9rjL/ -> there you can see the raw data that is produced in the chart, but it will take some Javascript skills to get the right numbers.
If the source doesn't matter, you could check out this post of mine and replace the GBP-USD example with your INR-USD: https://www.mrexcel.com/forum/excel...ion-get-fx-rates-post5366639.html#post5366639
Hope that helps,
Koen
