What is the best way to keep the file size and calculation time down when you copy and paste data into a new file?
The file I had was getting large, and I thought copying the main data tab and pasting the value would reduce the file size, and then I could make some SUMIF formulas off of that. It is taking a very long time to calculate. I have even set the calculation to manual, but it still takes a long time. I also tried copying the original tab to a new book, and then copying and pasting the values, but that does not help.
Any suggestions?
