I have inherited a database in which i have to transfer data into one new table, i am doing this using an append query. However when i try to append one of the tables i am getting a conversion error reading, "Microsoft access set 6 fields to null due to a type conversion failure". I then went ahead with the transfer and all the data was appended.

Has the data been pasted but the value been set to null. How can i overcome this problem as i need to base a form on this table

Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Hullo. First off, check the Design of the source and target tables. Make sure that each field has the same type. This is what likely caused your error, there being a difference between source type and target type.
