I have to categorise a large volume of data in order to analyse it.
I need to categorise it based on the text in the offer column. Is there a way of doing this based on keywords?
Here is some example data with an explanation of what I’d like to be able to do below:
<TABLE style="MARGIN: auto auto auto 4.65pt; WIDTH: 327pt; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse; mso-yfti-tbllook: 1184; mso-padding-alt: 0cm 5.4pt 0cm 5.4pt" class=MsoNormalTable border=0 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=436><TBODY><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt; mso-yfti-irow: 0; mso-yfti-firstrow: yes"><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 1pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext 1pt solid; PADDING-BOTTOM: 0cm; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; PADDING-LEFT: 5.4pt; WIDTH: 174pt; PADDING-RIGHT: 5.4pt; HEIGHT: 15pt; BORDER-TOP: windowtext 1pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 1pt solid; PADDING-TOP: 0cm; mso-border-alt: solid windowtext .5pt" vAlign=bottom width=232 noWrap>Offer<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

Is there a way of searching the offer field for a keyword like “dining” and then populating the Sub Category field with “Restaurants”? I’d then like to find a way of populating the Category field with “Food and Drink”.
Is there a way of performing the keyword searching so it recognises the word whether it is upper or lower case e.g. search for “dining” and it would still categorise the “Dining” offer above as “Restaurants”?
Any help much appreciated!
