Hi everyone

I have two sheets of data that contain user names and email addresses, in the second sheet I have alongside these two sets of data (username & email) a Town the client is from and I want to add this town's name to the first sheet against the same user name and email address.

Can anyone help?

The setup is as follows:

Sheets 1:
Column A: User Name
Column B: Email Address
Column C: Town Name (empty read to be populated from sheet 2)

Sheets 2:
Column A: User Name
Column B: Email Address
Column C: Town Name

Hi trafficzombie
You can get this from use of a vlookup or xlookup. Assuming the usernames and e-mail addresses are unique you can use either as the lokup value.
Excel Formula:
=VLOOKUP(B2,Sheet2!B:C,2,FALSE)
If you have a situation where you need to use a combination of username and email address, you can add a column to both tables that concatenates the two values and use that as the lookup and search keys.
