Damaged Macro?

I'm experiencing a phenomenon that appears to be a damaged "user logged in" macro that prevents using the workbook in any form, except RO. Access to move/delete the file on our network is impossible. Any ideas on how to nuke this thing on a Win2000 system?

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
if by RO you mean you can only open the file in read-only mode, this doesn't necessarily sound like a macro is to blame. rather, for some reason windows continues to believe that the file is opened by a particular user - could be a network problem. if you get the message when you try to open the file that tells you the file is locked for editing by a specific user, try having this user log off the network and see if this takes care of the problem
