Hello
I want to learn how to import/export cvs to excel. I am looking for a cvs file that I can use to do that. I tried to search the internet for a sample of these files but could not find any. Any idea where to find a sample of these CVS files? Thank you so much.

Excel Facts

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Do you really mean CVS ?

Or do you actually mean CSV (an abbreviation for Comma Separated Values) ?

If you mean CSV, and you really don't have such a file, why not just create one using Excel ?
Create a table of data, then use File, Save As, under Save As Type select one of the several options for CSV.

If you really mean CVS, then I'm afraid I personally can't help you.

Yep, in my opinion it's nothing special.

In my experience, issues sometimes crop up with certain types of data not being translated as you might expect.

For example, if you have a data field which contains commas, such as a name field containing
"Smith, Jane"
then the comma in the middle might well force separation of this data into two fields, which might not be what you want.

For example, if the other application handles numbers using a comma as a thousands separator, or a decimal point, such as
1,234
then this might also be handled in a way that you do not want.
Same might apply to dates etc.

There may well be other likely anomalies.

Usually there are ways round these.

I'm sure there are threads on this board asking about this kind of specific problem.
