Hi,

Is there a way to do this cut and paste without using the recorder's Select?

Code:
    range("Q3").Select
    Selection.Cut
    range("P3").Select
    ActiveSheet.Paste

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Daniel
this is what I would use.

Code:
Range("P3") = Range("Q3")
Range("Q3").ClearContents
