Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could help me as I have been asked to analyse data for usage for October. We send parcels to customers and I need to cross reference all our customers and find out who has reduced their parcel usage or stopped using us. I have downloaded data for the last 3 months but I am unsure how to work out which customers have reduced their usage or stopped using us.

Many thanks in advance.

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
are you just looking at the 3 months - customers from 3 months ago compared to last month
OR
are you wanting to compare month on month ??

extract a unique list of customers for the first month - and then sum the parcels for those customers for the 1st month with a SUMIF()
in another column SUMIF() the parcels for the last month
then you can compare the 2 numbers and see if they have gone down - or if no parcels would be zero

but that maynot be enough as not sure on the business, the trend, any seasonal variations and a host of other reasons
would a 3 month be enough to see any trend
would a customer just not use the service for 1 month and so may not have left

other members may have better more statistical relavant methods
