Hi! I would like to ask if there is a possibility in the customize the number format in excel in such a way that the standard number format (i.e. 34,000,344.01) to this number format instead XX.XXX.XXX,XX (34.000.344,01). I have to change the number format for a lot of entries and was wondering if there is a way to customize this instead of manually changing it. Can some one please help me? I have tried a lot of combinations but could not arrive at the specified format above.

(reverse number separator).

I hope someone can help me as I am not an expert in excel.

Many thanks!! :)

Highlight Duplicates
Home, Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells, Duplicate records, OK to add pink formatting to any duplicates in selected range.
You can change default settings in Control Panel - Regional and Language Options......looks like the settings you're looking for are European.....maybe select Italy under Regional Options tab

Hi
Welcome to the board

Since excel 2003 you can do it inside Excel. You forgot to post what's your version of excel. Check in the options.
