Custom Number Format --- % & Color at the same time

A1 = 1/2
= 0.5

I want to format A1 with 2 things:

-If less than 1, Red.
-Percentage %

I wrote the following but it is not working.

Could anyone please guide me...?

0%;[Red][<1];

worked for me...
