Custom Menus and Alt Tab

I have created a custom menu item (in Excel 2000) which works really well. It closes when the worksheet closes, opens when it opens, when another workbook is selected, it closes - basically, it works like a charm.

One small thing though.

If the user uses alt-tab to switch between sheets, the menu bar does, well, nothing. It doesn't disappear (or re-appear).

I'm thinking that this is because alt-tab isn't actually an Excel function.

Is there a way to get the menu to disappear and reappear as a user alt-tabs between spreadsheets?

This isn't a show stopper, just a little niggle....:)

Cheers

Barry

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
Unfortunately, those events don't fire with Alt Tab. But... a possible workaround might be to turn off the "Windows in task bar" feature on opening your workbook, and restoring it to whatever state it was when closing ?

I think that should work...
