Custom group handling in a pivot table

I would like to ask you about the groups in a pivot table.
You easily create one group by selecting for example 5 from 6 columns headers (or rows, of course) in the pivot table and right-click - group.
From this point and then:
If I see a grouped pivot table how can i know which columns it includes?
If a column that is included in the group doesn't have data and disappears from the pivot table, then, when it has again data, it will appear in the same group?
If I just want to add another column, how do I do it? Because the only solution that I found is delete the existing grouping, select the columns with the new one included and say again right-click - group.

Can you help me with this manipulation of Groups in a pivot table?

Thank you

Nick
