Hi,

I'm trying to indent the traffic light icon in these cells so that the traffic light and number are closer together and also more to the centre of the cell than to the right.

Can anyone tell me how do this with custom formatting? I feel like it has something to do with an underscore (_) but not sure where/how.

Thanks in advance!!

I suggest that you update your Account details (or click your user name at the top right of the forum) so helpers always know what Excel version(s) & platform(s) you are using as the best solution often varies by version. (Don’t forget to scroll down & ‘Save’)

As far as I am aware you cannot change the position of the traffic lights. However you can change the position of the numbers.

As a first suggestion try experimenting with both the column width and the alignment and indentation options shown below

Second suggestion would be to try something like below where I have the numbers and traffic lights in column G, used border between cells (except vertical borders between F & G and G & H and filled F, G & H with white background to hide gridlines (or you could possibly turn gridlines off)
