Custom formatting text colour

I am trying to colour JUST the custom formatting text that’s been applied to a cell.
Colouring the text of the ENTIRE cell is straight forward enough (using; if it contains specific text).
But I ONLY want to add colour to the APPLIED custom text formate of the cell.
Sorry for snip shoot, but XL2BB doesn't seem to be working.

MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
There is no way do that with a formula.

Well that’s a concise, to the point answer.
Being the case, I will therefore live with the current format that is returned by the formula.
I don’t think it is even worth exploring the effort involved to try to do this via VBA (even if that was possible)
