custom design pivot table style doesn't save

When I create a custom pivot table design it shows under "custom" in my pivot table designs. But, when I close out of Excel and go back in...it's not there!
How do I save my custom designs to show up when I open Excel?
Office 2010 version.

Hi Robert,

Are you referring to storing the Custom PivotTable Styles in the workbook in which they are created?

Custom PivotTable Styles can be stored in a workbook, but they can't be stored so they are available in other workbooks (at least not as of Excel 2010).
