Cumulative Sum across multiple years in Pivot

Hi,

How can I have a column showing cumulative views across the months, making sure the 2024 Jan views are cumulated by adding (total for 2023+Jan) and so on.
When I use the Running Total In option (show data as) with base field as months, it only creates cumulative values for 2023 months and restarts at 2024 Jan.

Appreciate the help!

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
