I am stuck on a formula for creating a maximum adjusted value of (10) and (-10) for a Points system.

The Controlling Body of a tournament issued a scoring criteria to all the score keepers for a Tie Game:

Tiebreaker #1 - Cumulative Points Differential up to a Maximum of 10 plus or minus per game.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.....

Below is a sample I just created for this post:

Excel Facts

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
One way:

=MEDIAN(-10,YourValue,10)

Stephen,

Thank you very much! I just tried it on the sample I provided in the thread, and it works. I have a "HUGE" spreadsheet w/ 60 teams playing 3 games a day for 7 days. I am going to try and incorporate this in the final ranking totals later today...(fingers crossed).

Again, thank you very much for quick response, and your help.
