CSE Array Formula

I didn't know where else to post this and I haven't found anything online to say this is true or when it was released.

It appears you no longer have to use Control+Shift+Enter to confirm an array formula and just pressing enter will work and not return #VALUE anymore?

Can anyone else confirm this or provide an article that says this is true now?

Thanks!

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Entirely depends on your version & build of Excel.
If you have a dynamic aware version then (in the main) you no longer need CSE.
Only 365 is dynamic aware, but it depends on what build/version you have. If you have functions such as SORT & FILTER, then it's dynamic aware.

Thank you! I do have Version 2009 and do have SORT and FILTER. I am hoping I can come across an article about this, but I am going to guess not.

Not quite sure why you need an article, but there was a lot of stuff about it on the net, when it first surfaced.

I actually found this from back in 2018. I was just curious when it was from and when approximately it was released was all.

Thanks for the information.

Not sure when they first appeared on the insider channels, but MS started to release the new functions to subscribers on the monthly channel in Nov last year & to people on the semi-annual channel in July this year.
