creating vba code to transfer some data from sheet to another

hi .. I want to creat a VBA code which transfers 3 values from the sheet called Main to the sheet called Items .. first one is Date second one is Statement and the third is the item price .. I want to create a drop-down menu for every time on cell D1 on the items sheet .. and for price, value is either labor or material I want to add the price value in labor column if only the statement start with "L." and if not add it to material column .. i hope I make it clear .. thank you >
