I'm fairly new to PowerPivot - working my way through Bill's book. Enjoying that!
Creating pivot tables has not thrown up any problems so far.
However, when I click on any of the charting options I only ever get two new sheets in Excel. One named "Data for Sheetx Chart 1" and another named "Sheetx" [x obviously being whatever sequential number I've got up to]. Also, while there is a blank pivot table on the "Data for Sheetx Chart1" sheet, "Sheetx" is completely blank, no blank chart, nothing. I can build the pivottable but no chart appears. I can manually insert a new chart.
If I select any of the other PivotTable options (like multiple charts, or chart and table) I still only get two new sheets as described above, i.e. if I've selected the two chart option, I would have perhaps reckoned on getting three new sheets (two for tables and one for the charts) but I only ever get two - a data sheet and a sheet for the chart(s) but without any blank chart(s).
Any help on this would be much appreciated.
