hi,

i have done a project at school in access and do not have access at home, so i was wondering whether there was a way of creating a stand alone application from a database i have created, like you can in visual basic?

cheers, adam.

Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)
The only way to create a stand-alone application in Access is with Microsoft Office Developer Edition. Frankly, you'd be better off buying a copy of Access/Office 97/2000 from somewhere like Ebay. You shouldn't have to pay too much (maybe £100/$150 US).

EDIT I stand corrected! I've just checked on Ebay's UK site here (not sure where you are) and found it for £79. A bargain!
