Hi All,

I am looking to create a randomizer in Excel with the following criteria - I need some help in how I would get this done...

All Sales Orders from a defined time range with the users who entered them in -

What I need to ensure is that if one person enters in 500 Sales Orders and another only enters 50 - they will get chosen at an equal rate - i.e. Person one gets audited for 50/500 and person 2 gets audited for 5/50 -

We are trying to make sure everyone gets audited regardless of the frequency of Orders entered.

Please let me know if I need to clarify further!

Thank you,
Brittany

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
Hi Brittany,

If you'll post a small screen shot showing the layout of your data, I'll suggest a macro to do that.

Please clarify:
Is each sales order represented in one row of the dataset?
Is each person's sales orders in consecutive rows? If not, can they be sorted to make the process simpler?
