 I have four macros that I need to make available to other users. I opened a blank spreadsheet that has the macros and saved it as an xla file called "Jeff's Macros". I stored it in a common folder. I went to a coworker's station and opened Excel and checked Jeff's Macro's under the available addin's menu. However, when I go to macros from her station, nothing is there. Am I missing a step or did I do it wrong to begin with? How can she run the macros? It says the macro workbook is open, so I'm thinking maybe I have to do more than just save a blank spreadsheet that contains the macros as an xla. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks so much!

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
Thanks for trying, but no luck. Most of my coworkers have Excel 2003, which is what I'm trying to get this to work in. I saved it as an XLA, Excel tells me the xla file is open, but I can't see the macro's in the new spreadsheet in which I want to run it. Is all you have to do just put the macros in a blank spreadsheet and save it as an xla file (which is what I did)? Or is there some other step needed to make the macros show up in the other workbook. The xla spreadsheet is selected under ADDINS, so I can't figure out why I can't see the macros to run them.

"Macros," (subs without arguments) in add-ins don't appear in the Macros dialog. They will run if you type them in to the Macros dialog (the Run button will enable when the macro name is typed correctly), or they will run from a shortcut key combination established in the add-in, or, if the XLA creates a button, it will appear on the Add-Ins tab.

Thanks for responding; let me mess around with it and I'll get back to you. The xla spreadsheet I saved had four separate macros in it. Should I have just one macro per addin?

You can have as many macros in an add-in as makes sense. Typically, they should be related to various aspects with some common purpose.
