Create web connection with European Central Bank rates NOK- EUR

[Roy_Excel_Island_Apps]

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to import the data series from following link:

https://www.ecb.europa.eu/stats/policy_and_exchange_rates/euro_reference_exchange_rates/html/nok.xml

You can see it contains a data series. Tried to make a connection in Excel via:

1. Data tab - From Web
2. Fill in URL: https://www.ecb.europa.eu/stats/policy_and_exchange_rates/euro_reference_exchange_rates/html/nok.xml
3. Drill down to the Series in the DataSet - Load
4. Result = just 1 title row and 1 row of data

Why can't I see all data from the series?

Insert URL
Click OK
Click on the dropdown under where it states: 'Header'
Click on the dropdown for: 'DataSet'
Double click on: Series
Wait for query window to load
Click the little multi-direction arrow in the header cell named: 'Obs'
Click OK or select the columns you want then click OK
Click on the 'Close & Load' button

Missed out on the little multi-direction arrow in the Obs column.
