Hi: I will need your help again.
I am trying to create a grid. Lets say 10x8.
I would like to have a field that prompts for X axis and another Y axis. After filling the fields with the number I would like to populate the grid with a text box to type something in it.

Is it possible?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
What exactly do you want to do?

What do you mean by a grid - a group of textboxes?

By the way if it is an Access query why have you posted the same question in the Excel forum?

Hi Norie:
I could use either excel or access. But access best suit my needs as my project is completely in access.
More in detail I need to create several grids or tables with a variable number of colums and a variable number or rows.
I need to input the number of rows and the number of colums and let access create that grid/table for me.
In each of the fields I need to imput some text
Each grid or table has to be individual and must have its own name.

I was thinking probably creating a Form to look like this:

GRID DESIGN
Grid name: Sample grid
x axis: 5
y axis: 3
>Press here to create grid/table<

After filling the blanks I would like to have a grid/table to look like this:

...A B C D E
1
2
3
[/i]

Then I need to type something on A1,B1,C1,D1...and so on.

Thanks

Hi Norie:
The purpose is to keep track of some samples located in the spots (ie: A1, C9, F10...)
