I want to create 2 dynamic dropdown lists.
if i select any category in 1st list, then 2nd dropdown list should automatically show only those values which refers to the selected category only.

I hope this can be done by two ways :
data validation in cell and by inserting combo boxes from developer ribbon

please help me with both ways.

Thanx in advance

Hi MickG

Thank you very much for this code but I am not able to understand code.

If i want to make any changes according to my need, i think i need to understand what each line in the code is doing
so please can write what each line is doing in the code comments if you dont mind

That would be of great help to me

Thanks again
