Create Classic Timeline

Hello All,

I have a worksheet with approximately 100 rows, in 3 columns.

Column A is a date
Column B is a description
Column C is a name

I want to create a "Classic" timeline, with the dates on the line, and the description appearing above and below the line, with lines from the descriptions to the line. Basically, I want the information to appear like a timeline should.

I found a tutorial, but it requires me to enter the "description"s manually, each and every one, and also, since the dates span 3 years, it did not list each individual date, just several dates spaced months apart.

I DO NOT CARE HOW WIDE THE TIMELINE IS, I just need it to include all the information.

If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance,
Michael

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
