Hello,

New to the board hoping you can help me.

I want to type up my fishing tournament schedule in Excel and then import them to Google Calendar.

Do I put the dates in 1 column then location in next column and then times in next column.

Then save as CSV file or ICS file?

Thanks for the help

Bob

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.

Set up your sheet like this:

Excel Google Calendar.xlsx
ABCD
1SubjectStart DateStart TimeLocation
2Test11/26/20249:00 AMRoom 123
3Final exam11/27/20241:30 PMRoom 9
Excel Google Calendar

Put the column headers in row 1 (see above link for the correct header names); the order of the columns doesn't matter because the Google Calendar import is clever enough to match the header names to the correct calendar fields. Dates are in mm/dd/yyyy format. Save the workbook as CSV (Comma delimited).
