I am looking for some sample code that will create a visio document from info in an excel sheet.

I had done a couple of versions myself about 8-10 years ago but have been out of the game and lost my toolbox of code modules.
There used to be a lot of examples out on the web but I don't see very many now and the code being used seems a bit incompatible with either the new O365 Visio (Microsoft Visio for Office 365 MSO (16.0.10730.20264) 32-bit or the new O365 Excel

The only thing I've found that kinda works at all is the Data Visualizer but I have not found a way to add stencils or see the code behind it.

I've been looking for a few days now and could really use some help.

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
