crashing on Save after Sorting

This just started happening yesterday with an .xlsm file that has a dependency to another .xlsm file.

I can save the file as expected UNTIL I apply a sort - then the save action crashes Excel. It doesn't matter whether I apply the sort by macro or manually.

I have another .xlsm file with the same dependency and I can save it fine after sorting.

Any suggestions appreciated! Version 2016 1611 Build 7571.2072
