Hello,

I am trying to determine two things in relationship to Excel 2016's computational abilities :

1.A benchmark on how to guage the processing power of Excel 2016 on my particular system.
2.Figure out how much computational power is needed to calculate up to 10 Excel sheets.

For example, when processing one 64 bit sheet while running on my system ( WIN 7 Professional, 32GB RAM, 64 Bit OS, with an Intel I7 - 4770 ( 4 cores - 8 Threads ) @ 3.4 GHz Excel will max out all 8 cores for approx 10 seconds. Would it be safe to assume that by doing simple math, that for Excel to process approx 10 sheets with the exact same type and size of data, that it would take approx 100 seconds to complete this processing task ? Additionally, would it be safe to put this sort of processing strain on the PC every 15 minutes throughout the day, 5 days a week ?

Appreciate any insight, suggestions etc.

Thanks,
Richard
