Hi there, I am completely new to excel and I was unaware of the extent of its functions. I have been tasked with converting the layout of a cinema timetable that is in a spreadsheet. the timetable also includes the age rating of the movie and the director . I am also not going to include certain info that it currently has such as if it has a premium price .
Im sorry i can not attach for privacy purposes . I was wondering the best angle to go at this as I am so new and there are so many resources available I couldn’t tell if it was relevant or not . So my question is what would be the best way to do this , is there a name for this so I can find tutorials on YouTube ? I cannot do it manually as the data will update over time and I need the format to change along with it . Thanks

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Without seeing a layout OR exisiting data types...it's a tough call.
Have you tried googling either Excel Scheduling tools OR Excel Project Scheduling ?

I had a look after you mentioned but what I am aiming to do is convert an already existing spreadsheet as the format isn't great for the original.
