Coupon Usage Report

I have a downloaded report in Columns A through L and a listing of activities in columns P through Q. On the report, I am trying to match the descriptions in Column C with the listing of activities in Column P and then entering the account number in Column R to the appropriate cell in Column D> I have tried V LOOKUP and IF, THEN, but I am either writing them wrong or there are too manty operations.

Could you share some sample data? Either use the table function in the advance reply or upload a file to a sharing service (eg. Dropbox).

Click the Table Icon, enter the number of rows and columns, create it and insert some data
