couple of easy ones about the board

1. how do I make my code come up in the correct format? I have read the sticky but its not that clear im doing this

but it don't work


2. On the new posts search what does the little padlock on the right of the thread description mean?

1. Code tags are used like:

[ code ] code here [ /code ]

but without the spaces

2. Not sure about the padlocks - I don't see them.

might not be a padlock.. it goes just above the tick if you have commented on that thread.

There is a little light blue tag looking thing if thats what you are talking about? that means that there have been keywords associated or linked to that thread for better searching, by using the search feature?

Yes if you click on one of the threads that has that if you scroll to the bottom you will see a tags section, you should not see the tags section if you do not see that little tag in the thread description.
